*             Careless driving
- Fine up to $2,000, possible license suspension, and up to 6 months of jail time.

*             Dangerous driving
- Fine up to $50,000, up to 5 years of jail time, and a possible license suspension for up to 10 years.

*             Failure to stop for a school bus
- Fine up to $2,000 and 6 demerit points.

*             Failure to remain at the scene of an accident
- Fine up to $2,000 and a possible license suspension of up to 2 years, 7 demerit points on your license and/or imprisonment up to 6 months.

*             Driving with a suspended license
- Fine up to $5,000, up to 6 months of jail time, and a possible license suspension extension.

*             Driving a vehicle that is not roadworthy - Fine up to $2,000 and a possible vehicle impoundment.

*             Driving without insurance - Fine up to $5,000 for a first offense and license suspension for up to 1 year.

*             Driving without a license - Fine up to $1,000 for a first offense and license suspension for up to 1 year.

*             Driving a vehicle with unauthorized plates - Fine up to $2,000.

*             Driving a vehicle with an obstructed view - Fine up to $1,000.

*             Driving with an expired license or registration - Fine up to $110.

*             Failing to properly wear a seat belt - Fine up to $1,000 and 2 demerit points.

*             Failing to yield to a pedestrian - Fine up to $1,000 and 3 demerit points.

*             Failing to share the road with a cyclist - Fine up to $1,000 and 3 demerit points.

*             Improper passing or lane changes - Fine up to $2,000 and 2-3 demerit points.

*             Failing to use signals when required - Fine up to $500 and 2 demerit points.

*             Obstructing traffic - Fine up to $110.

*             Driving a vehicle with excessive noise - Fine up to $110.

*             Failing to properly secure a load - Fine up to $2,000.

*             Overloading a vehicle - Fine up to $20,000 and a possible vehicle impoundment.

*             Driving in a closed lane or emergency lane - Fine up to $110 and 3 demerit points.

*             Failing to pay a toll or fare - Fine up to $1,000.

*             Failing to display a proper license or permit - Fine up to $1,000.

*             Driving while holding or using a handheld device - Fine up to $1,000 and 3 demerit points.

*             Driving with an unsecured load - Fine up to $2,000 and possible vehicle impoundment.

*             Driving without proper headlights or taillights - Fine up to $110.

*             Driver – fail to properly wear seat belt – Fine up to $200, and two (2) demerit points.

*             Failure to report an accident - Fine up to $1,000.

*             Failure to stop for a red light - Fine up to $500 and 3 demerit points.

*             Failure to stop for a stop sign - Fine up to $500 and 3 demerit points.
