Frequently Asked Questions

Email here if you need an answer to another question

It depends on the issue. As a Paralegal, we can represent you in matters of:

  •  Tribunals (eg. Landlord-Tenant, Human Rights, WSIB and Social Benefits),
  • Ontario Court of Justice Cases (eg. certain Criminal offences),
  • Small Claims court Litigation (for individuals or businesses),
  • Provincial Offences (eg. municipal by-laws or traffic tickets),
  • Coming: Family Court
  • Notary Services

If it is a workplace dispute, separation or divorce, landlord-tenant issue, small claims matter, or more, a Mediator provides a form of Alternative Dispute Resolution ("ADR"). A Mediator is there to assist both parties with an alternative resolution to court.

Court systems throughout North America are moving in the direction of ADR first, before (or even if ) a judge looks at any case.

Once all parties in a case or dispute reach a judge or an Adjudicator, their ability to self-determine and control the outcome is suspended. Now it is the judge or Adjudicator who decides the matter and makes an order that is enforceable (often with serious repercussions if breached).

This is why many responsible legal representatives recommend trying Mediation first. Once your case gets to a judge, they decide what happens to you.

We assist with providing research, client care, case management, in all matters a Lawyer may require a second pair of hands. Lawyers have a lot to do, and small firms or independent General Practice lawyers may need help from time to time to ensure they can meet deadlines and improve client satisfaction and case success.

We can be hired per hour, per month, or per case in a hybrid or remote setting. We provide efficient and professional services that helps legal professionals attain their business targets and practice management.
