Chantele “CT” Ehler, of Ehler Mediation and Legal Services is your trusted partner in navigating legal and mediation matters with confidence and clarity. A licensed paralegal in Ontario, certified mediator, Notary Public, and Commissioner of Oaths, CT provides exceptional freelance services to lawyers, represents Ontarians in Provincial Courts, and offers mediation expertise anywhere.

CT’s journey into legal services is as diverse and multifaceted as the clients she serves. Growing up in Toronto, she expanded her horizons by living in Europe and Asia, gaining invaluable international experience. With dual residences in Canada and the U.S., and personal insight into the immigration systems of both countries, CT is uniquely equipped to freelance for firms in complex cross-border cases.

Before embarking on her legal career, CT cultivated expertise in education and healthcare, working with high-needs children, youth, and seniors. Her time as a Registered Massage Therapist specializing in chronic pain and palliative care taught her the importance of accessibility and advocacy, which remain at the heart of her practice today. She has also collaborated with interdisciplinary professionals to develop innovative solutions that improve the lives of her clients.

In 2022, CT followed her lifelong passion for justice, earning her Paralegal Diploma and Mediation Certification from Herzing College and becoming a licensed paralegal in January 2023. Drawing from her own experiences as a proud member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and an advocate for invisible disabilities, CT is deeply committed to workplace equity, human rights, and empowering her clients.

As a passionate volunteer, CT dedicates her time to restorative justice, accessibility advocacy, and initiatives that uphold human dignity and fairness. Her active involvement with organizations such as Amnesty International, the ARCH Law Centre, grassroots legal advocacy groups, and the Rotary Club reflects her belief that justice and serving the community are not just goals—it’s a responsibility.

When you work with CT, you gain more than a legal representative or mediator—you gain a dedicated professional who listens to your concerns, values your perspective, and fights for solutions tailored to your needs.  Whether you require freelance legal support, mediation expertise, or representation in Ontario’s courts, CT delivers a professional, approachable, and results-focused service that ensures confidence and clarity at every stage.

Let’s create solutions together. Contact CT Ehler today to work with someone who  understands your challenges and is committed to delivering the best outcomes tailored to your needs.

The EMLS Approach

At Ehler Mediation and Legal Services ("EMLS"), we specialize in Alternative Dispute Resolution ("ADR") via Mediation. ADR offers a neutral space to ensure you get to work on what results you want and not having a forced judgement upon you. For Paralegal matters within the Province of Ontario, you can have someone in your corner, representing you with choices you felt empowered to make.

Independent General Practice Lawyers and Small Law firms can get help with their demanding caseloads, and get the type of efficient service their clients need guilt-free.

In Your Corner

Every morning, your case is reviewed and updated. This means if you need to check the progress status for any reason, you can receive a notification on your situation based on the timeline expectations of your case.

Success in Dispute Resolution

Often people reject Mediation outright immediately, thinking they will "loose" something. Little do they know, that this is often the best way to resolve a matter, quickly, affordably, and with the best outcome for everyone in mind.

Here at EMLS, we encourage all parties to seek independent legal advice, and set up a pre-mediation session to decide if this path is right for them.
